Student Affairs

General Objective


The Office of Student Affairs maintains the following objectives:
  • To develop/enhance the acquisition of life skills and values among the students through quality, relevant, efficient and effective student welfare and development programs and services.

Special Objectives

  • To develop students' personality and leadership skills, and build their strong character through co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
  • To facilitate the provision of academic scholarship and financial assistance to poor but deserving students through the various scholarship assistance mechanisms.
  • To ensure just and fair implementation of the school policies on conduct and discipline contained in the student handbook.
  • To conduct studies on students which will provide information or data as bases for enhancing or improving student welfare and development services.

Programs & Services

A. Student Welfare Programs and Services.
These are the basic services that are necessary to develop the well-being of students.
  • Information and Orientation Services
    This service is aimed to help the students know the nature and requirements of their respective courses and help them adjust to college life and get acquainted with the school environment to include school officials.
  • Scholarship and Financial Assistance.
    This service is to provide access to scholarship and financial grants to deserving students.
  • Student Discipline.
    This is aimed to implement judiciously the Institutional rules and regulations governing student behavior.
  • Student Housing Services.
    This service is to provide assistance to students to have access to a safe and conducive accommodation.

B. Student Development Programs and Services
These programs and services are designed for the development and enhancement of student's leadership skills and social responsibility.
  • Student Organization and Student Activities Services.
    This service is aimed to recognize/accredit student groups whose objective is to support the Institution in insuring total development of students.
  • Leadership Training Program
    This service is aimed to provide opportunities to develop potentials and leadership skills of students.
  • Student Publication.
    This service is aimed to support and monitor the Constitution and By Laws of the NORLUZONIAN.
  • Student Council / Government
    This service is aimed to provide opportunities for the students to exercise their right to govern themselves.

Off-Campus Invitational Activities

  • This service is aimed to provide opportunities for the students to link and network with other students from other Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
